Whether through individual counseling, marriage counseling or couples therapy, our Fort Worth therapists can help you figure out how to move forward and make better choices in your life.
Many individuals struggle with depression, anxiety, painful relationships or just find themselves in uncomfortable situations that keep happening over and over. We help individuals understand their choices and uncover strategies that will effectively change their life for the better. Individual therapy can often be someone’s first experience feeling safe enough to really uncover the root issues and develop the skills to make healthy changes.
Couples often find couples counseling to be the last house on the block. After failed attempts to get your needs met in a relationship, going to therapy can be an effective way to find connection and happiness in your relationship. An experienced therapist can help couples develop a better understanding for each other. When clients finally understand each other they will often begin to treat each other respectfully and more lovingly. We offer the communication tools and skills that help couples create relationship strategies that work.
We offer a solution focused approach, and all of our therapists are committed to furthering their expertise through ongoing education.[/toggle][toggle title=”Fort Worth Therapist Bios ” open=”no”][/toggle][toggle title=”Fees – Insurance – Office Photos” open=”no”]
All human beings run into challenges. We all hit roadblocks and we don’t have the answers, or perhaps the strategies that we’ve been using just don’t work anymore. It’s a natural and normal thing to reach out and ask for help, and I think a lot of times in our culture, we’re taught that it is not a good thing, we’re weak for doing so. And it just isn’t true.
Reaching out for help to a licensed professional could sometimes be the best thing you’ve ever done. We have helped a lot of people move forward in their life in healthy ways, so we have a lot of skills and experience to bring to the table. Different than family or friends, talking to one of us is a unique place because this is one place in your life where it gets to be just about you. This isn’t a dual relationship where you have to worry about our feelings; this is all about you and moving forward in your life.
Much like a coach, we’re here to help you figure out the right kind of strategy to move forward in your life. And with your help, we’re going to deepen our understanding by asking questions. Your first session, you’re going to tell us your thoughts, your feelings, your opinions about your life, and it’s a very interactive process. We give a lot of feedback, and I think clients like that.
You’re going to learn a lot about yourself, more than perhaps you ever have. And it can be very relieving just even having a deeper understanding of what’s been going on in your life, and of course, that’s the springboard we use to help you move forward.
A great way to get to know us, though, is to go on our website. We have a bunch of videos and articles where you can probably find a life issue that you can relate to and maybe even get some help now. But you’re going to get to know the kinds of advice that we can give.
The best thing you can do, though, is to reach out, pick up the phone and give us a call. One of our lovely receptionists can answer basic questions for you, and they can direct you to the therapist that you would be seeing. You can tell them a little bit about what’s going on in your life and see how it goes, see if it’s a comfortable conversation. We’re probably going to ask you a little bit about that, and we’re going to probably tell you the times that we’re available to see you. And if you feel comfortable with the person on the phone, then make an appointment. We’re here to help.
Help paying for therapy is a whole different thing, and sometimes people have what’s called out-of-network coverage. You can call your insurance provider and see if they have out-of-network coverage. And if they do, we can give you an invoice. If you have something called flex spending, some sort of employee benefit, we sometimes help people use those monies to pay for therapy, and you can ask your employer about that.
Most of all, we’re here to help. And if you want to take the next step in your life and you want to see if we’re the right fit for you, just pick up the phone and let us know. We’re here to help. Thank you so much.[/toggle][/accordian][/one_half][/fullwidth][fullwidth backgroundcolor=”no” backgroundimage=”” backgroundrepeat=”no-repeat” backgroundposition=”left top” backgroundattachment=”scroll” bordersize=”0px” bordercolor=”” borderstyle=”solid” paddingtop=”45px” paddingbottom=”45px” paddingleft=”0px” paddingright=”0px” menu_anchor=”” class=”” id=””][one_half last=”no” class=”” id=””][title size=”2″ content_align=”left” style_type=”double” sep_color=”” class=”” id=””]Counseling Specialties[/title][checklist icon=”fa-check” iconcolor=”” circle=”” circlecolor=”” size=”small” class=”Speciallist” id=””][li_item icon=””]Interpersonal Issues[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Marriage Counseling & Couples Therapy[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Relationship and Intimacy Issues[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Premarital Counseling[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Sexual and Emotional Disconnect[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Infidelity[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Parenting[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Fighting and Defensiveness[/li_item][li_item icon=””]LGBTQ Adults[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Life & Career Transition[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Life & Career Transition[/li_item][/checklist][/one_half][one_half last=”yes” class=”” id=””][title size=”2″ content_align=”left” style_type=”double” sep_color=”” class=”” id=””]Fort Worth Therapist Locations[/title][map address=”Fort Worth, TX 76102″ type=”roadmap” map_style=”default” overlay_color=”” infobox=”default” infobox_background_color=”” infobox_text_color=”” infobox_content=”” icon=”” width=”100%” height=”300px” zoom=”10″ scrollwheel=”yes” scale=”yes” zoom_pancontrol=”yes” popup=”yes” class=”” id=””][/map]
