Welcome to Relationship Counseling Center Denver. My name is Sevin Phillips and I’m the founder of Relationship Counseling Center. I’m also a licensed marriage and family therapist. Here in Relationship Counseling Center in Denver we specialize in relationship issues. That’s what we do. The reason is because most people find that relationships are the most significant thing that will happen in their life. It’s where we feel loved. It’s where we feel connected. It’s what brings us such great joy. It’s because of that I really want to focus and help people really have happy lives in their relationships. One of the things that we do for couples is, if you come in, we’ll create an environment without blame or judgment where you can really have some deeper understanding, maybe at some levels that you have not had at home. Through this understanding, you can make different decisions, treat each other differently, and hopefully learn some strategies along the way that will help you.

What sets us apart is that we are not only licensed and trained, but we have enough life experience. All the therapists I’ve hired have that wisdom to bring into your session. We can back up the strategies that we have with real-world experience, which is important for you to know.

We also help sometimes when people need some help choosing dating partners. If you want to make different decisions in the people that you choose, come on in and we can help you out. Sometimes people who are in a relationship want to come in by themselves to really work out some stuff about what’s going on in the relationship and get clear about how they want, how to get it, and how to create a better relationship. Of course we specialize in marriage counseling and couple’s therapy, so you can come in and work with us that way.

The first step is to give me a call. I’ll answer some of the practical questions that you have and talk about the location and therapist. If everything feels great, I’ll have the therapist give you a call. During that call, you can get to know the person you’re going to be seeing, which is a really great way to start. In addition, you might tell them a little bit about why you’re coming in.

At that same time, you will learn all the times that they’re available so you can book an appointment as soon as possible, whether it’s day or evening or which day of the week.

Sometimes people pay for their couple’s therapy or individual therapy with insurance. We don’t work for any insurance companies, but we are licensed therapists, so if you have any out-of-network coverage (which you should check), we can give you an invoice and you could get reimbursed directly through your insurance company. In addition, if you have any flex spending accounts with your company, you might be able to use those dollars to help pay for it as well.

If you go on our website, you will see that we have a lot of articles and videos. We have a lot of relationship issues that we already cover there. Go check it out. You might learn a lot about us and the kinds of things that we do suggest, which is great. In addition, you may even learn some tools and strategies that you can start using now in your relationship. I hope you can, because this information is free for you.

If you’d like to talk to me, please reach out. If you’d like a third party to help you navigate your relationship and help you improve it, please do call. Thank you.

So, I’ve had what I’ll call “classic” issues with therapy. Until about 18 months ago, I thought that I could just deal with whatever I needed to, without help. Yeah. Then, I had a couple of unsuccessful starts with a couple of other therapists; One who really sucked, and one whose style was more along

Contrary to popular belief, my hubby and I don’t have a perfect marriage, but who does, right? There were/are several issues we needed/need assistance with; one of which was/is a nagging problem for quite some time. We’ve had several sessions with him and every time our sessions ended I felt some breakthrough had occurred, no
