Our Colorado Springs therapists are solution-focused, offering individual therapy, couple therapy & marriage counseling.

At our Colorado Springs therapy office, licensed therapists help people find healthy ways to target and resolve life issues. Whether through individual counseling, marriage counseling or couples therapy, our Colorado Springs therapists can help you figure out how to move forward and make better choices in your life.

Many individuals struggle with depression, anxiety, painful relationships or just find themselves in uncomfortable situations that keep happening over and over. We help individuals understand their choices and uncover strategies that will effectively change their life for the better. Individual therapy can often be someone’s first experience feeling safe enough to really uncover the root issues and develop the skills to make healthy changes.

Couples often find couples counseling to be the last house on the block. After failed attempts to get your needs met in a relationship, going to therapy can be an effective way to find connection and happiness in your relationship. An experienced therapist can help couples develop a better understanding for each other. When clients finally understand each other they will often begin to treat each other respectfully and more lovingly. We offer the communication tools and skills that help couples create relationship strategies that work.

We offer a solution focused approach, and all of our therapists are committed to furthering their expertise through ongoing education.

Hello. My name is Sevin Philips, and I’m the founder of our center in Colorado Springs. I’m also a licensed therapist. I’m here to give you some information that I think is helpful for anybody, especially if this is your first time doing therapy, you don’t know quite what to expect, yet you know you want some help. Also, if you’ve been around the block and you’re just looking for the right Colorado Springs therapist, I’m going to give you some really specific information about how we work with our clients to see if we’re a good fit for you. Also want to give you some practical information, including how to pay for therapy.

First of all, everyone from time to time needs help. We all get stuck and we don’t have the answers, and it’s completely normal, and healthy, and natural to reach out for help. A licensed professional could be a great choice. We’ve helped a lot of people through a lot of issues, so we have a lot of perspective that not everyone has.

When you come into our Colorado Springs therapy office , we’re probably going to ask you some questions, you know, about your life issue. We want to know your thoughts, your feelings, and your opinions about what’s going on in your life. And we’re going to be very interactive with you in a very natural way, and it can feel very comfortable. We’re getting to know you, we’re asking questions. And as we deepen our understanding of you, sometimes we even illuminate things that you’ve never thought about around your issue. It can be very helpful. When you have a deeper understanding and a clear understanding of what’s going on in your life, you sometimes feel like you can make different choices.

And at some point as we move forward, of course, at your own pace, we’re eventually going to help you with specific tools and skills. We’re going to create a roadmap with your help that will help you move through this issue into greater joy and ease in your life. That’s our goal. We are solution-focused therapists and we want to help you find a working solution that is helpful for you.

If you’d like to check out our website, we have videos and articles, and it’s a great way to get to know who we are, the kinds of advice that we give. I also recommend that you call us on the phone. For no commitment at all, you can talk to one of our receptionists and they’ll direct you to our therapist, and you can talk to them on the phone. Tell them a little bit about what’s going on in your life and see if you feel comfortable with the person on the phone. And if you do, and only if you do, make an appointment.

If you’re learning about how to pay for therapy and you’re wondering, we are out-of-pocket, however, we do help people who have out-of-network coverage for mental health or if you have any sorts of health savings accounts or HR benefits. We sometimes can give invoices to help you in both of those situations. Our Colorado Springs therapist specialize in marriage counseling, couples counseling, couples therapy and individual therapy.

If you need some help, please reach out and take the next step. Thank you so much.

So, I’ve had what I’ll call “classic” issues with therapy. Until about 18 months ago, I thought that I could just deal with whatever I needed to, without help. Yeah. Then, I had a couple of unsuccessful starts with a couple of other therapists; One who really sucked, and one whose style was more along

Contrary to popular belief, my hubby and I don’t have a perfect marriage, but who does, right? There were/are several issues we needed/need assistance with; one of which was/is a nagging problem for quite some time. We’ve had several sessions with him and every time our sessions ended I felt some breakthrough had occurred, no
