Our Boulder therapists are solution-focused, offering individual therapy, couple therapy & marriage counseling.

At our Boulder therapy office, licensed therapists help people find healthy ways to target and resolve life issues. Whether through individual counseling, marriage counseling or couples therapy, our Boulder therapists can help you figure out how to move forward and make better choices in your life.

Many individuals struggle with depression, anxiety, painful relationships or just find themselves in uncomfortable situations that keep happening over and over. We help individuals understand their choices and uncover strategies that will effectively change their life for the better. Individual therapy can often be someone’s first experience feeling safe enough to really uncover the root issues and develop the skills to make healthy changes.

Couples often find couples counseling to be the last house on the block. After failed attempts to get your needs met in a relationship, going to therapy can be an effective way to find connection and happiness in your relationship. An experienced therapist can help couples develop a better understanding for each other. When clients finally understand each other they will often begin to treat each other respectfully and more lovingly. We offer the communication tools and skills that help couples create relationship strategies that work.

We offer a solution focused approach, and all of our therapists are committed to furthering their expertise through ongoing education.

Lyndsey Lee is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addictions Counselor offering individual and couple therapy with offices in Boulder and Denver. Helping people find a path to healing and re-connection is at the heart of her work. Her training is rooted in a blend of neuroscience, attachment theory, trauma therapy including EMDR, PACT couple therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. These views, when combined, provide the ability to get at issues underlying the content of arguments and hurts that seem to arise over and over again. This approach allows for clients to learn the “user manuals” for themselves and one another so that they can show up in relationship with awareness, can best support their partner, receive the support that they need, and strengthen the couple to be able to better handle external stressors together.

Lyndsey holds her Master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy, and is working toward her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She has supplemented these degrees with training to include the Boulder Association of Jungian Analysts, PACT Therapy with Dr. Stan Tatkin, EMDR Therapy, and a specialization in Addictions Counseling. She believes that ongoing education and training allow her the opportunity to provide the very best support to the clients she has the privilege of working with.

Hello. My name is Sevin Philips, I’m a licensed therapist and I’m the founder of our center in Boulder. If you’re listening to this video, you’re reaching out for help, which is a really great thing, and I want to commend you for it. I want to tell you also that everyone from time to time in their life needs help; we get stuck, we have the same patterns that continue throughout our life and it brings unhappiness. And it’s okay to reach out and get the help that you need to get out of it.

This is a very unique relationship; it’s different than family or friends. And if you have those kinds of people that you can talk to and they listen to you, that is great. But what makes our relationship really unique is that we are here for you 100%, that’s the nature of our relationship. We have helped hundreds, if not, thousands of people walk through the places in their life that they’re stuck and find a roadmap to getting through it in really healthy ways.

To start off, we’re going to get to know who you are. We’ll probably listen to you; your thoughts, your ideas, your feelings about your life, about the issue that you’re facing. We’re going to ask a lot of questions and be really curious about you, it’s our way of getting to know you and developing trust with one another. Also, when we get to know you and ask these questions, we really explore your issue at a really significant depth that perhaps you’ve never done before. When people do this, I often find that they become self-aware in ways they have not, they understand their issues in really clear and defined ways. And then together, in a very collaborative process, we can move forward and find the right kinds of skills and tools necessary for you to create the kind of change in your life that you would like.

I would recommend going on our website and looking at some of the videos, reading some of the articles, and get to know who we are that way. It’s a great way without having to reach out, you can get a little sense of who we are and the kinds of advice that we give.

And also, a great first step is to reach out on the phone. You can pick up the phone and call one of our happy receptionists, and they can help you find the right therapist that’s closest to your work or your house, and maybe even connect you live on the phone with that person. So you can get to know who they are, tell them a little bit about what’s going on in your life and see if you get a good feeling about them, get to know their personality. I want you to feel good about the therapist you’re seeing, and that’s a great first step.

Also, sometimes people want help paying for therapy, and if you have anything called out-of-network coverage or flex spending through work, sometimes we can give invoices that help you pay for your therapy. We specialize in a solution-focused approach to individual counseling, couples therapy, couples counseling and marriage counseling.

I hope this is helpful, and please reach out if you’d like some help. Thank you.

Contrary to popular belief, my hubby and I don’t have a perfect marriage, but who does, right? There were/are several issues we needed/need assistance with; one of which was/is a nagging problem for quite some time. We’ve had several sessions with him and every time our sessions ended I felt some breakthrough had occurred, no

So, I’ve had what I’ll call “classic” issues with therapy. Until about 18 months ago, I thought that I could just deal with whatever I needed to, without help. Yeah. Then, I had a couple of unsuccessful starts with a couple of other therapists; One who really sucked, and one whose style was more along
