[/toggle][toggle title=”Boise City Therapy (Video Transcript)” open=”no”]Hello. My name is Sevin Philips. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, and I’m the founder of our center. I’ve created this video to help you make a decision. Is this the right time for you to go to therapy? Are we the right therapist for you? And I also want to educate you with some basic stuff that I think everyone should know, especially about how to pay for therapy.

So, first of all, everyone in their life runs into challenges from time to time. And I say this because it’s completely natural for us to hit a roadblock and not know how to move forward; it happens to everybody. It could be a really good choice, reaching out to a licensed professional. We have a lot of experience helping people moving forward in their lives in healthy ways.

When you come into your first session, we’re most likely going to ask you your thoughts, your feelings, your opinion about your life issue. We’re going to get to know you. We’re going to ask a lot of questions. I think you’ll find it’s much like a conversation, which is very comfortable to have, except this conversation is really keyed in on to getting to the bottom of what’s going on in your life.

Through having that dialogue, a lot of clients discover things about themselves that they didn’t know. Some of those epiphanies can be very helpful in moving forward in understanding what’s going on in your life. But beyond that, we are solution-focused therapists, so we’re going to be partners helping you move forward and teaching you the right skills and tools that are necessary for you to create a roadmap and move forward in your life. We’re not only going to support you during our sessions, but we’re going to support you taking those tools outside into your life, of course, at your own pace.

Now, a first step would be just to give us a call. I recommend it because you can talk to the therapist on the phone without any commitment. I want you to feel comfortable with the person you’re going to be seeing, and make sure that you feel good about them before making a decision to come in. You can ask them a little bit about all the times that you can see them, both day and night, and you can tell them a little bit about what’s going on in your life, too.
We also have a lot of videos and articles on our website. It’s a great way to get information, perhaps something that you can relate to that would be helpful for you right now. But also, it’s a great way to get to know who we are and the kinds of advice that we give.

If you’re having a hard time in your life and you want to move forward, please reach out, give us a call, let us know what we can do to help. Thank you so much.[/toggle][/accordian][/one_half][/fullwidth][fullwidth backgroundcolor=”no” backgroundimage=”” backgroundrepeat=”no-repeat” backgroundposition=”left top” backgroundattachment=”scroll” bordersize=”0px” bordercolor=”” borderstyle=”solid” paddingtop=”45px” paddingbottom=”45px” paddingleft=”0px” paddingright=”0px” menu_anchor=”” class=”” id=””][one_half last=”no” class=”” id=””][title size=”2″ content_align=”left” style_type=”double” sep_color=”” class=”” id=””]Counseling Specialties[/title][checklist icon=”fa-check” iconcolor=”” circle=”” circlecolor=”” size=”small” class=”Speciallist” id=””][li_item icon=””]Interpersonal Issues[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Marriage Counseling & Couples Therapy[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Relationship and Intimacy Issues[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Premarital Counseling[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Sexual and Emotional Disconnect[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Infidelity[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Parenting[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Fighting and Defensiveness[/li_item][li_item icon=””]LGBTQ Adults[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Life & Career Transition[/li_item][li_item icon=””]Life & Career Transition[/li_item][/checklist][/one_half][one_half last=”yes” class=”” id=””][title size=”2″ content_align=”left” style_type=”double” sep_color=”” class=”” id=””]Boise City Therapist Locations[/title][map address=”Boise, ID 83706″ type=”roadmap” map_style=”default” overlay_color=”” infobox=”default” infobox_background_color=”” infobox_text_color=”” infobox_content=”” icon=”” width=”100%” height=”300px” zoom=”10″ scrollwheel=”yes” scale=”yes” zoom_pancontrol=”yes” popup=”yes” class=”” id=””][/map]

Trying to find good couples counseling can be a daunting task.  Our relationship is important to us so we don’t just want your average run of the mill therapist.  I stumbled onto the Relationship Counseling Center website and found a large selection of videos about relationships issues, many where spot on for our relationship.  I

Contrary to popular belief, my hubby and I don’t have a perfect marriage, but who does, right? There were/are several issues we needed/need assistance with; one of which was/is a nagging problem for quite some time. We’ve had several sessions with him and every time our sessions ended I felt some breakthrough had occurred, no
